What Modalities Does Freedom of Expressions Offer and What the Heck Are they?!

I, Amanda, am a true Multipotentialist, a term I heard in a Ted Talk from Emilie Wapnick: Why some of us don't have true calling. This term sang to my love of learning and my constant desire to acquire new tools and more wisdom! I offer quite a few modalities so I placed them all here to make it simple. So what is Transformational Life Coaching?

Coaching is a technique used with people who want to move toward higher function and achieve excellence while creating an extraordinary life. The primary focus is on evolving in life and the manifestation of your true potential. Coaching is about you moving forward from where you are in your life to where you want to be. Life coaching can help with any aspect of your life, whether it is personal or professional. Coaching, may address specific personal projects, business success, or general conditions in your life or profession. Other things that may happen in a session are value clarification, brainstorming, identifying plans of action, examining modes of operating in life, asking clarifying questions, and making empowering requests or action steps to take out into the world after our session. In a Freedom of Expressions session other modalities may be included that are within the scope of practice like integrative energy medicine and sound healing.


What Is Yoga Nidra?

I AM Yoga Nidra™ is a sleep-based meditation technique that creates a profound release of excess stress and tension in the body. It assists the body-mind to deeply relax so the brain can access the healing powers of the lower brainwave states.

When these states are reached our hormones balance, our nervous system regulates, our right and left brain hemispheres synchronize, our memory and immune systems boost, and we emotionally integrate our experiences.

A 45 minute Yoga Nidra is as restorative as 3-4 hours of sleep!

The American Psychological Association's Annual Stress in America Report found that 1 in 5 children said they worried alot about things going on in their lives and more than 30% admitted to stress related symptoms like difficulty sleeping. The same report found that only 8% of parents were aware their child had any stress at all. The young and old alike experience stress. Yoga Nidra is a powerful and easy tool that the whole family can benefit from!



What Is Transformational Reiki?

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words - Rei which means "God's Wisdom or the Higher Power" and Ki which is "life force energy". So Reiki is translated to mean "spiritually guided life force energy." Reiki is a simple, natural and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement. Because of it's safety it can assist with virtually every known illness and struggle in life and always creates a beneficial and relaxing effect. It also works in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery.


While Reiki is spiritual in nature, it is not a religion. It has no dogma, and there is nothing you must believe in order to learn, use or receive Reiki. While Reiki is not a religion, it is still important to live and act in a way that promotes harmony with others and the Earth. The purpose is to help people realize that healing the spirit happens when we take responsibility for ourselves and our lives and this is a necessary part of the Reiki healing experience. In order for the Reiki healing energy to have lasting results, you the client must accept responsibility for your healing and take an active part in it.


What is Sound Healing?

Sound healing is the practice of using audio tones and vibrational frequencies to repair damaged tissue and cells within the body. Allowing DNA strands to heal themselves. Physical sound vibrations help to move the brain into a deep meditative state. Everything around us is made of energy and vibrates with a frequency. Sound healing is based on the belief that dis-regulation or dis-ease in the body is a result of our natural resonance being out of tune or off balance, whether due to stress, illness or environmental factors. Vibrations work on all levels - Mind, Body, and Spirit and through working with frequencies you can bring your body back into healthy balanced vibration.
